I hate to see him go but it will be interesting to see what a team might pay for him.

So, we just added $6.5 million to our spending budget 3 days before Strief officially becomes a FA. Any chance we are trying to make a deal before he hits the open market?

I know Strief is a team leader, but I thought there was a fair amount of pressure put on Brees off the right side this season. This might turn out to be a good thing... who knows. I think they would turn to Harris as next in line. Also look in the draft for potential depth at the tackle position.

No but we have never had a Loomis/Payton plan fall on its face either.
