Sproles is a good back but he is a specialist and as pointed out his returns have suffered. Is he good? Yes

3.5m + a draft pick good? That's stretching it. IMHO.

Not sure if a team will.
My thoughts are a team like tge jags, bills etc that will not get him if he is released may give up a late pick to secure him. Who knows if Loomis has spoken to anyone.Could be teams leaving the front office to stew in tbe hopes of getting him for a 6/7th rather than a 5/6th.

Anything is certainly possible but 3.5m+a draft pick is more than he is worth... We are not keeping him at just 3.5m, and that was probably the hardest decision the front office has made so far this off season.

Id love him here but that's a lot of cap for a declining player that isnt a alround back. Teams have figured out the the offense and when Sproles is receiving out yhe backfield teams are on him straoght away.The less said about his returning last year the better tjough yhats on blocking too.

I think PT is just as effective in the screen game as Sproles while also being a duel threat to run the ball when in... I love watching Sproles play, but I don't think we'll miss him as much as some fans might think. I hope that Cadet gets his $#!@ together and maybe takes over has our Sproles-type RB. That kid has a ton of potential.
