Point being people celebrated but he went to SF because they offered more.

I argued about his gas tank. I was handed a jacket that buckles in the back.

Am I doing it right?

I second that. Not only do I think they sign Graham instead of Byrd, they're gonna pay him 15 million per season.

So far the only other team that reached out was eagles. There's been expert hype on him being a brown.

Unless he's will to take a lot less this year there is no way he's a fit. I would take Ware on the DL also but there again money next year not this one.

Ware plays OLB, in a hybrid mode.

I'd love this but I can't get too excited. But I am anyway. Damnit! What a safety tandem we'd have!

CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

Unlike Jenkins, can Byrd tackle? I sure hope so at the asking price!!! :)

Come on Byrd, come help us become champions, again. <<That's moonshine.

Just think of that secondary...

lock down corner in keenan lewis
fierce hitter in rafael bush
Versatile and going to be a beast - kenny vaccaro
And arguably the best free safety in the league at the minute in Byrd

championship is right!!

Hasn't he had knee issues his whole career?

This past season he only played in 11 games. But the prior four years he played 16, 16, 16, and 14 games in his rookie season. It does not look like there were any issues with knees, or any injuries before.

It wasn't as hard a pitch as people are making it out to be.... Plus he came here and got first a first hand look at our revamped D... Last season...

Its a great deal imo.

28 guaranteed in the first 3 years, I believe... So no more dead money after 3 seasons :bng:

Its a great move with that in mind.Get the best years of his career and not be on the hook for tons of dead money if he declines in later years.

Or outright cut him when his age gets 30+ or his play declines

I'd take a serving of crow gumbo to go
