"The Saints are holding onto Sproles as they try to squeeze out the highest bid. He would qualify as an upgrade on Roy Helu and Chris Thompson as the passing back in new coach Jay Gruden's pass-happy scheme, but the Redskins aren't exactly overflowing with draft picks. They lost their first-rounder in the Robert Griffin III trade and only have one pick in each of the following six rounds.
