I'm not saying we should cut the guy. But 12 sacks don't tell the whole story with him. He is streaky when it comes to rushing the passer - when he's on he's on, when he's not he's invisible. And he doens't make a lot of plays in other aspects of the game. Haralson is roughly the opposite - neither is a complete player by any means.
Again I like Galette, but when you supposedly want to have a 3-4 defense and he's your only proven guy at OLB, you should probably look at adding some depth. |
