I just read that Rich McCay, head of the NFL competition committee, was responsible for fast-tracking the rule change.

Rich is also President and CEO of the Atlanta Falcons.

I think we should just ban TD.
If the players took to the field but all had a big Madden game instead it would be better for player safety too
