Re: WR
Going to a lot of other team sites where they say their team likes him as a TE. Also got some friends that are FSU fans who said because of his size FSU considered moving him to TE. Possibly another JG type, 6'5 240.
Steeler fans seem to love him because he fits that TE hybrid. |

Re: WR
With the system we are running and Brees distributing the ball the way he does we don't really need a "pure" 1st round WR. We need somebody that fits a certain position in the offence. It would be nice of course to have somebody like Megatron or Andre Johnson but its no a need.

I like Beckham's skill set a lot, but he is one of those guys who makes spectacular catches on one play and then drops a wide open pass on the next. Jarvis Landry has the best hands I've ever seen, and I truly mean that. He's not particularly fast, but is quick and refined in his routes. I think he's the safest pick of all the WR's but his lack of top end speed keeps people from talking much about him. I'm still not sold on picking a WR in the first, though. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: WR
Don't forget the UDFA's that the Saints are able to sign. Every year we find a gem. I hope we keep it up.

Re: WR
Tanner will make the team this year... and we will pick up plenty of talent in the later rounds. No need to splurge in the early rounds for a WR.

Re: WR
That's called pass interference. You do need quickness. Every good receiver has a skill. You can't just maul people. And he hasn't even shown me that he's THAT physical.

Re: WR
Within the first 5 yards it isn't as long as the ball isn't in the air. Vaccaro blew up a couple of slot receivers off the line last year when he pressed and the Seahawks make a living off of it.
