“It’s very tough to leave New Orleans. The fan base is incredible and I have built many relationships in the last nine years. It will be hard to move past that, but I understand that the NFL is a business. The Saints brought me in, sat me down and told me they were ready to move on. I understood, but it doesn't make it easy. I have built a life here in the last nine years and it won’t be easy to move on. I will miss my teammates and the relationships I have built within the city of New Orleans." Re: A Football Life-My Interview with Lance Moore
I will never forget that catch he made when we played Baltimore he was in the back right corner. Marcus was the original target but the ball was tipped and Moore caught it after bubbling the ball while stretched out of bounds. After the review it was a touchdown. We lost the game but that catch made me go out and buy his jersey the very next day. Lance Moore will forever be a top notch stand up guy in my eyes. Who Dat.
