I'm OK with Goodwin if he's very cheap. If he can beat out Lelito and/or draft pick for starting center, great. Otherwise he's good veteran depth. He can play guard too, IIRC.

If two rookies can't beat out a 35 year old 12 year vet for Center either we have a big problem or Goodwin found the fountain of youth.

Not knocking him but 1 Pro-Bowl appearance isn't normally indicative of a 12 year vet beating out the world.

He doesn't get passed preseason, and I doubt he signs for what Loomis wants to pay.

Who was saddened when we let him go? Now we celebrate his return....

He is a better option than DLP though.

I admit that I was sad to see him go back in the day, but I don't really want him back now.

Martin sounds a lot like a younger Goodwin. It would be interesting to see our backs run the ball behind a big bruising center again.

Thinking that's the plan. They want to extend the life of Drew Brees. Running the ball behind a smash mouth o-line is a good start
