this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; But, my first wish is for Tom Benson to have mercy on all of us and sell the team to someone who knows a little more about football ............... Too true. I guess we must all have been very bad ...

Everything seems so pointless. I cannot even fathom what the Saints should fix first to get a result next week. |

Hello I am new to the site , Sort of a long time reader first time responder.
I would like to respond to the thought of a new owner who knows a little about football. I am not thrilled with the thought of having a owner who get envolved in the every day running of the team. I think Mr Benson should clean house yes, but I dont want him selling the team to some one who will be envolved in play calling or selecting players. I dont think people thought he didnt know much about football when he choose Mr. Jim Finks or Mr Muller. |

:casstet: Saints coaching is pathetic. 12 men in the huddle at the one yard line -- no excuse for mental errors like that. As for the defense -- they did settle down in the second and third quarter -- of course maybe denver wasn\'t trying to score -- all in all though - really poor performance by all,.

Just think - the Saints are the ONLY team this year not to score on an opening drive. Those plays are SCRIPTED. These are the 15 plays that the coaching staff spends all week breaking down film and strategizing to get out fast. These are the plays our coordinators think will work best against the other team. It makes me want to vomit.

[/quote:d6bdbe017f] You\'re right but consider this: Pease has been their one year. Clearly he\'s been unable to light a fire under Sullivan but some of the players that have shown up since he\'s been here have been an improvement. Young, Green. etc. |

Actaully, Young came in recognized as a high motor guy and Green has the distinction of being better than Sullivan, which means diddly-poo. We had no other options. Have any of our d-lineman tackled any rb for a loss this year? I don\'t blame this on Pease, I blame it on Haslett\'s lack of an ability to recognize any talent and Venturi being a horrible coordinator.
