I don't think he's a problem at all. 49 tackles and 5.5 sacks from a DT is ridiculous. He had 10 sacks as rookie. Dude is ridiculous. He has no off the field issues. His only "problem" is he's overly physical. Some call him dirty. I call him productive. But yeah, too much money for the Saints. If he was making like $8 million though....

He hasn't gotten into the type of trouble a lot of other players have, but he does have a run-in with the law.

... and let's just cherry pick stats from multiple seasons to support our case, ie 49 tackles, 5.5 sacks ... what season was that? For 2013 he had 36 tackles, 12 assists, 1 safety, 5.5 sacks (or less than 4 plays per game, and that was actually up from the two previous seasons) and none of them were important, game-changers, made a difference or came at crucial times during a game ... sorry fellas, but I just don't see the point in worshipping at the altar of Suh ... maybe I hold my heroes to a higher standard, IDK, but this guy has really only had two outstanding seasons, his senior year at Nebraska & his rookie season with the Lions ... pretty poor showing for all the hype, IMO.

I can understand why fans are infatuated with him, but upon further review, he's just an average defensive tackle with an extraordinary image/persona/contract, none of which he backs up with his play on the field, <shrug>. It is what it is ... the prosecution rests,

... I just saw his stats on Wikipedia and he's listed as having 49 combined tackles,

... and while we're busy referencing Wikipedia, let's not overlook what a stud he was in high school ... 65 tackles, 10 sacks & four fumble recoveries because we all know how important previous stats/performance are in the "what have you done for me lately" NFL,

... sorry guys, I've just grown tired of this debate over the past few seasons,

No off the field issues except driving recklessly and getting other people injured. LOL.

I wouldn't want him even at $8ml. I dont want players that choose to miss voluntary workouts.The next step is missing camp days and paying fines etc. Its a distraction and doesn't help team morale. Id rather have team players that want to be around the other players and facility.
