Re: second round - what ya want?
There's quality and then there's quality. If we can pick up an offensive lineman who is pretty much ready to start right away, that's no waste of a second round choice for us. We have a need and that guy would pretty much be the BPA for us.

I know that center in the second round is huge but we don't have a third.

Re: second round - what ya want?
Are you talking quality like second round pick Charles Brown or quality like 4th round pick pro bowler Jahri Evans?

Re: second round - what ya want?
plain A - send a second this year and next year second to houston and get pick 33! hold an auction or just take the player you want. me i would take carr and sit and wait to here the offers.
or trade up else where and chase one of these guys Stanley Jean-Baptiste, Nebraska (6-3, 218) over McGill If the saints decide to play true man on man coverage then fight fire with fire. Just do not put him on a WR that is quicker. keep on the big slow lumbering WR and he is fine. I like the upside and he has great hands. can he out muscle for the ball is an area of concern. Jeremiah Attaochu, Georgia Tech (6-3, 252) Added depth at pass rusher works too. but issue number one can he drop into coverage? Allen Robinson, Penn State (6-3, 220) let them come up with a CB to cover him. I am not usually a big Penn St. fan but after all they went through as a team and to stick together and have a solid season says a lot about the player. they all could have gone else where but stayed. *2 in my book Plan B stand pat for the most part Bishop Sankey, Washington (5-10, 209) If he falls into your lap and do not take him you are not using BPA approach there will be plenty of talen on the board with upside label to pick from, Now DEFENSIVE TACKLE 1. Louis Nix, Notre Dame (6-2, 331) 2. Timmy Jernigan, Florida State (6-2, 299) 3. Stephon Tuitt, Notre Dame (6-6, 304) 4. Ra'Shede Hageman, Minnesota (6-6, 310) 5. Da'Quan Jones, Penn State (6-4, 322) that is a very nice list. one is bound to fall. even Jones is a solid addition. Saints need depth big time at NT. Or just get it over with and reach for the player you want round 2 has some good talent next on my wish list from round 3 are oppsss were Charles Sims C.J. Fiedorowicz Christian Jones |

Re: second round - what ya want?
Yeah I am thinking the same way...
Who ever the BPA is on their board and I like Tuitt where we may not have to go up to high to get. I also like WR Lee out of USC. Get another WR... why not. I am usually all for trading back and getting more picks but the quality that is still there might as well go get them. |

Re: second round - what ya want?
Trade 2nd rounder back for more picks in Rounds 3 and/or 4. Centers Travis Swanson or Marcus Martin should be available early 3rd round through the end of the 4th...pick up one of them then as Weston Richburg will probably be gone by the 3rd round.
If Jordan Matthews is sitting there with our 2nd round pick, DO NOT pass on that...let Meachem, Toon, and Morgan fight over that last WR spot. |

Why even draft at all since we've had so much success with UDFA's?
I'm sorry but your thought process is pretty damn stupid. |
