Really surprised he was there after the second round, thought he'd be gone; can cover the flats and rush passer - he'll challenge Butler and Harrelson...

Walters take:

New Orleans Saints: Vinnie Sunseri, S, Alabama: C- Grade
The Saints like to use three safeties on the field, so they were expected to take one even after signing Jairus Byrd. However, Vinnie Sunseri is a reach; I didn't think he would be drafted.

Could it be that he was drafted to keep him away from Atlanta?

If the Saints don't grade a remaining center highly enough look for Goodwin to get that phone call.

Think of the UDFA interior linemen that will want to geaux to New Orleans for the chance to start on this offense...

That's why I say wait and get a Center in UDFA; there's not a huge difference in the top prospects and the lower guys with the exception of Weston Richburg...
