Just remember that the past few, and new, Superbowl awards have been to new stadiums. Second place is the same as last place. ;)

I always heard what an amazing experience it was to visit lambeau, and how historic it was. I thought it was a dump compared to the Superdome. It doesn't even have individual seats, just benches without a backrest. There's nothing to see outside the stadium either. I think I remember a burger king? Plus, it was cold as heck and I only counted two good looking ladies the whole time I was there.

You should see how Jerry Jones operates his play pen up this way? He pimps that stadium out first chance he gets. Miley Cyrus concerts, soccer fest and even top tier boxing events. It's damn near a strip mall.

Unlike all the other domes that came after ours, the SuperDome was built to last. I've seen 25 of the other NFL stadiums and most suffer from either bad location or were built cheaply. Seems like every 15 years a team wants a new stadium. Do it right the 1st time and it should last a minimum of 35 years. I fully expect our Saints to be playing in the SD for at least 10 more years.

I agree. I've been to both St. Louis and MN many times. Those domes weren't at all comparable to the Superdome.

New stadiums are souless bowls. I say this as a soccer fan who has seen the atmosphere at new stadiums become more and more corporate with the atmosphere dying at grounds. The Dome is home and should be kept that way.

No way. The Dome is an icon, like the river, and bourbon street, and etc and etc. Why a new stadium? So Roger will bring the Superbowl back?

Let Mine-hahah have it. The NFL will keep coming back, because it's the best place for the game. The Dome is more than functional. What a colossal waste of money building a new stadium would be.
