Why is it that every time(which is few) the Saints get pumped up, they just deflate themselves. At times, they seemed like they could score on ATL at will. Then, an INT or dropped passes and bad play calling. These factors seemed to kill 2 or 3 good drives today. I don't understand how they can march down the field with ease, then stall and go three and out or settle for 3. What gives?!?

One word: McCarthy
He\'s not responsible for everything (int\'s, fumbles) but he kills more drives than anything else with his play calling. BTW, today was another game we didn\'t score in the first qtr. This is the qtr where the play calling and schemes should be most effective. Since it is not, it\'s obviously a coaching problem. |
