To the best of my knowledge there have been no real offers. I am sure there have been discussions and I would not be surprised if a rudimentary deal may not already be in place. One major reason for waiting is that the longer the front office waits the more solid the remaining cap number. The Saints would want to fit as much of the deal under the current year's cap as possible while still leaving room for maneuvering to deal with injuries and such.

There was, however, speculation from some media outlets that a deal was likely in the range of $10M-$11M per year.
