QUITTERS

:mad2:

Sorry folks, don\'t normally follow my own posts, but I took a little look back over yesterday\'s stats and got my blood pressure up again...

Here\'s just a few of the fun little snippets from yesterday\'s embarrassment:

- The Saints were behind 23-0 before notching up the first of only 15 total first downs, a 25-yard pass to Joe Horn following (of course) a Victor Riley holding penalty.

- Needless to say, we still didn\'t score in the first quarter. Since week 2, the Saints have been outscored 94-0 in the first.

- Deuce McAllister carried the ball 7 times for 22 yards. He dropped at least two easy screen passes and lost a fumble on the Saints 10-yard line. On the next play, Carolina responded with their first TD.

- The Saints defense allowed 32 points, 401 total offensive yards (not including kick/punt returns), 25 first downs, and forced no turnovers.

- Jake Delhomme went 22/29 for 294 yards and 1 TD, a career-high 119.0 QB rating. Muhsin Muhammed narrowly missed his own career high with 10 receptions for 179 yards and a TD.

- In an embarrassing, NBA-like fiasco, Saints safety Steve Gleason was ejected for sucker-punching Panthers defensive end Kemp Rasmussen after a kickoff. Charles Grant was benched for a series following an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

- Speaking of penalties, the Saints put up 10 for 104 yards to the Panthers\' 4 for 44 yards.

:seeingstars: There\'s more, but most of you have probably had enough. Fact is, on Sunday we saw an already lousy team get even worse. Are they quitters? You bet your A$$ they are...

QUITTERS

Danno said he wants them to be quitters - and he said Deuce should be traded. LOL.
