First of all, the writer is Darin Gantt a former beat hack for the Carolina Panthers - so he basically eats out of Cam Newton's @$$...

Secondly, prefer all the ammunition and chips on the shoulder we can get, especially going into training camp...

Third, he argues the Saints struggle on the road - he fails to mention that the Saints and Pats own the best road record since 2009...

Finally, read his @$$hat criticism of the defense that the big acquisition was Byrd, had offseason surgery, and leaves adding only Champ Bailey...

How is it a step back in personnel when you rid yourself of the worst (2012) safety tandem in NFL history in Harper and Jenkins and now have potentially the best three safety rotation in the league in Vacarro, Byrd and Bush?!?

LOOK AT THE SOURCE...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Were Jenkins/Harper worse then Tebucky Jones/Jay Bellamy or Josh Bullocks/Dwight Smith?

Statistically, yes...

In 2012 they led the worse defense ever...

Jenkins/Harper were better than you or I but even that bell curve doesn't make them good...

We got better when Vaccaro took PT away from an "injured" Harper and when Bush replaced Jenkins; add Byrd, your comparing apples to turds...
blackangold and K Major like this.
