With a couple exceptions, safety is thinnnnn this coming year. But we need to address the position. Would love to add Davis, cause he\'s a gamer and a leader, and damn, he loves to hit. But, you can\'t have it all, when it comes to the draft
Wouldn\'t mind seeing a QB taken, but not until at least the third round, and let him season a few years. Charlie Frye\'s stock may drop, cause scouts will point out his arm, but he\'s a gamer too. Friend from Penn State saw him play this year and told me to watch this kid. And we all saw Derek Anderson this year against LSU. He made some questionable decisions, but he can throw. And he\'s huge- he\'s the same size as Roethlisberger, but would be a bigger project than Frye.

The waiting drove me mad....

We agree about the thin safety position BNB. It has to be addressed. What do you think about taking a chance on Jason Campbell in the 3rd if he is still on the board? I think he could be Brooks without the as many mistakes, of course if Haslett and crew are gone so they can\'t ruin him.

Jason Campbell? Yeah thats all we need is anouther dumb QB the only reason he is even being talked about is because of this year. and he was only as good as their running game was. He camp lead he makes dumb plays and it would be anouther wasted pick. Look at last year what were they ranked at the begining of the season ? and why did they drop so fast in the polls? because the didn\'t score a TD for 3 games. Thats the problem people think one year makes you a great QB just like with Brees, he has done nothing up until the signed a QB to take his place then he bust his butt to try and keep his job. No to Jason Campbell And No to Brew Brees!

Nnone thinks one year makes anyone a great qb, winning does. Jason Campbell has had a different offense every year he has been at Auburn. Have you watched him grow the last few years? Noone is sayign he should come in and start right away. Daunte Culpepper came from a small school and sat the bench a year, made lots of mistakes when he started, and look at him now. If you are waiting for Leinart or rodgers or Eli or Peyton Manning to get traded to us, it is nto gonna happen. Since Jason Campbell or Drew Brees or not worth a look, please tell me who is. Brooks?

Well I have watched Jason play every game for the past four years. He looks just like AB does in the pros he is not that good. There is no quick fix to any of the problems here. But to Draft Campbell even in the 6th would be a bad pick to me. If we had to pick a QB in the draft that could be there in the later rounds it would be Alex Smith from Utah. We need a leader on the field and Campbell is not one so if you want Brooks part 2 the Draft Jason

Okay, I see where you are coming from. But Brooks may also have been a product of Haslett\'s spin machine and a lack of good coaching. Whatever the reason, he is ruined goods now. Campbell has gotten better. Look what NFL Europe did for Rohan Davey. Patriots rave about him to the tune of him being their guy if Brady goes down. ROHAN DAVEY. It\'s all in coaching. With good coaching, Campbell can be good and overcome mistakes. He has grown immensely this year as a player. He reads defenses much better and hardly turns the ball over. I would not be averse to Alex Smith though. Kid seems like a winner.

Correction- you\'re finally happy that someone agrees with you. He might even believe your \"Creed has outsold Pearl Jam\" theory. :P
