Well to be fair I think most people didn't like the fact that we took a safety, not that we took Vinnie. Well maybe some LSU nitwits had an issue with another Bama safety.

And yes, he is a straight up baller.

I'm the biggest LSU homer on this board. Before the draft I worked out how we could realistically pick an LSU player with every pick except the first one(no em made sense there.) By the way my board would have us with Cooks, Jarvis Landry, Ego Ferguson and I don't remember the rest but would anyone else like Landry over Baptiste? He was there. Anyway I loved Roman Harper, was thrilled to get Ingram and am on the Sunseri bandwagon big-time. Tiger fans know better than anyone that Bama has good players. Once they graduate we can consider pulling for them. Can't ignore that lately Alabama RBs underperform huh?

Nope; we needed a tall physical corner to help defend all the height in the division now

One of Baptistes knocks has been he's not physical or aggressive. Not sure you can learn that either. Either you're aggressive or you're not. I agree we need a 2nd corner more than a WR but Labdry can return too plus I am doubtful Baptiste ever starts in the NFL.

Eddie Lacy has been outstanding in Green Bay (they run a ZBS) and Ingram has looked great over the last 10 or so games.

That basically leaves Trent Richardson, who is the only 1 of the big 3 not running behind the familiar ZBS.

So Ingram has lived up to the hype? I do seriously wonder if he'd have found more running room somewhere else. I just expected more out of him and Trent. And Lacy has looked good, I just hate on Bama whenever possible.
