Carmichael never really runs the ball. I believe that if we have a balanced attack we will be much tougher.

Ya.. we only had the 6th ranked rushing offense in 2011 when he called plays... but who cares about facts.

Not quite sure what your definition of balance is but:
2009 Saints:
544 - pass
468 - run

2011 Saints
662 - pass
431 - run

2012 Saints
671 - pass
370 - run

2013 Saints
651 - pass
391 - run

I believe Carmichael likes much more of a passing attack than a balanced attack. 2009 Superbowl champs were much more balanced
