So, is our 2nd round draft pick hurt?

SJB would be a welcome change as well. I think cutting Champ was a money move. Champ looked good in the limited playing time he had, while PRob did not, but I only saw the preseason games.

^ It actually would've been cheaper to cut Patrick Robinson and keep Champ Bailey. So no, not a money move.

I think SJB deserves a shot.

He didn't get beat out by any of those guys. It's pretty obvious they released champ because he didn't play much in the preseason. But that's a lame excuse to cut the guy when robinson can't stay healthy either. Give me an option between two injury prone guys and I'll take the one who doesn't suck when he is healthy. Does that make more sense to you? The point everyone is making is that champ SHOULDN'T have been released in the first place, but you're assuming these guys are actually better than him. That's like a bad joke. A really bad joke.

Keenan Lewis got his ass lit up too. Galette just signed a bajillion dollar contract and barely got any pressure on the QB. D-line in general got no pressure. Byrd was lined up so far back he looked like he was getting ready to return a punt, and Vacarro looked nothing like the same guy from last year. And hell, the Falcons just have a really good offense when everybody is healthy.

But it's all Patrick Robinson's fault. LOL. Sure.

Comments like these riddle message boards all over the world. It's been said 100 million times that the defense sucked. But somebody mentions a specific player and it starts a conversation about said player, and somebody comes at the end of it and says "it's more than one player guys!". Yes... We know. And yet Patrick Robinson remains the worst defender on the field. Fair enough?

I am not sure that's true. Did you know Keenan Lewis got beat more often than Robinson yesterday? Do you realize that between Hicks and Jordan, neither got one single pressure on the QB? Vacarro missed like 6 or 7 tackles. So no, I don't think Robinson is the worst defender on the field.

Can someone please point to something that Bailey actually did with the Saints, that was BETTER than what we have now? Name a play, any play, what did he accomplish or achieve during his time here....I'll hang up and listen now.

I would rather have Greer than Bailey

This I could go with, although Greer even last year wasn't nearly as good as many people believed. But he had his sacred cow status. The truth is, the #2 corner position was better last year with Corey White in there instead of Greer.

I would love to see Greer back and in a supporting role though. Especially since Robinson cannot seem to stay healthy. We may eventually realize the reason they cut Bailey is because they kept Greer on speed dial.
