this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Who said anything about not going for the first down? I just think that not getting it after being sacked/incomplete/intercepted is worse than not getting it after not making any yards. At least then we get a shot at a ...

At least then we get a shot at a field goal. What makes you think we wouldn't have got a first down running the ball? I believe it was totally the wrong call.
