We can debate all day about Champ vs PRob or White and why he was cut. What is more telling for me is that he is still out there going into week 3 isn't he?

There is something we don't now about.

Could say the same about Jabari Greer and him now having to retire but there were plenty who wanted him back too. I'd rather take my chances with an old hall of famer then a young, no namer who's been getting toasted for the majority of his career.

Bring in Greer, McKenzie and Bailey.

Some players are good at practice but don't perform well under the lights and when the pressure and excitement is on. I think this is what happens to PRob and to an extent White.

If Champ couldn't beat out Robinson, do we really wanna him back?

He didn't even beat out Dixon.

Just because Champ's a future hall of famer doesn't mean he's better than the other guys on the team at this current point and time. Champ is just simply washed up now. There's a reason that 1) we cut him and 2) no other team has picked him up.

Champ obviously created a reputation of being a shutdown corner during his career, and he deserves to be remembered as a shutdown corner, but he's just not that player anymore based on the two things I mentioned above.

Detroit had him in for a try out and they let him walk.

And they're desperate for a CB.

You are probably talking to one of the few non Greer fans in existence. A whole lot of people are forgetting 49er, Patriot, and Packers games where Greer was smoked like a bacon wrapped blunt.

Greer is retired because of a career ending injury.
