Seasons on the brink: Which 0-2 teams can still get to postseason?
Playing better at home doesn't trump/fix playing bad defense.
• New Orleans What has gone wrong: The defense that coordinator Rob Ryan fixed in 2013 is broken once again. Tackling was awful in a Week 1 overtime loss at Atlanta and the coverage problems in the secondary continued in last Sunday’s loss to Cleveland. Reason for optimism: A notoriously poor road team, the Saints return to the comfy confines of the Louisiana Superdome starting with Sunday’s home opener against Minnesota. How does being at home help us when our secondary doesn't understand who to cover?

I have to say we suck on the road..... I won't be surprised if we look like a totally different Playoff Caliber team back in the dome Sunday ...

It is not good enough to feel comfy at home. There are only 8 games at home and that does not get anyone into the playoffs. We need to win at least 5 road games and all 8 home games. Yes the pressure is on or the season is lost. How will they respond over the next few weeks?

So I think starting back to back on the road may have had an impact. We didn't look good in 07 our first two games on even offense, and the week 3 came and all we heard was VY wants to show he can win in primetime and he did. Deuce had his injury in his last game as a starter playing for us. We did not get it going until week 6. |

In all honesty I think Cleveland gave us a better fight than Detroit will. Cleveland has better secondary that matches up well against our offense. Detroit does not. So I think we can win at Detroit this year and once deep in a rhythym at Pittsburgh.
