On to the Cowboys
Offensive is looking pretty good this year. Defense blows but so does ours. Looks like this game is going to come down to which teams defense sucks the worst. Will be a good test. If we can win against a good offense on the road that will be a good confidence builder.
Oh and on another note, I'm reeeeaaaly not looking forward to playing the Bengals. |
Re: On to the Cowboys
I honestly feel like this win against Minnesota is what will right the ship for us. I believe we'll take away Dez Bryant and Demarco Murray from the Cowboys, and their defense won't be able to stop us what so ever. They won't be able to keep up in a shoot out, and we'll run away with the game. They'll make push late in the game, but never being a true threat.

Re: On to the Cowboys
This game scares me more than a game against the Cowboys normally would. That team can light up the scoreboard. Good test for our defense I suppose, but we really need the secondary to get their crap together.

Re: On to the Cowboys
We need to get the passrush back on track. Put pressure on Romo an watch him fold like a chair.
|
Re: On to the Cowboys
Yeah, the pass rush -- remember when we had one? It felt nice. Today, there were flourishes.
|
Re: On to the Cowboys
Galette sure came to play, Walker on occasion to. I still haven't seen anything out of either Jordan or Hicks. Those guys need to step it up.

Re: On to the Cowboys
The Cowboys seem to have the same offense every year, regardless of personnel. They have the same relative output and when we play them people predict a shootout. But that's only happened once that I can remember. We blow them out again and again, and the reason is because while they put up some yards on us, Romo is one of those guys that gets a little too comfortable in the pocket and it allows even poor pass rushing teams to get to him and that's where you have all the turnovers. And defensively, they absolutely have no answer for us.
That being said, as long as we take care of the ball the usual traits should take over in this game as well. I expected a better offensive showing today, by far, but we own the crap out of the Cowgirls. This would figure to be the game to get it going if it's ever going to happen. |

2012 matchup went to overtime where colston fumbled but luckily was recovered by Graham 2010 Malcolm Jenkins forces fumble with 2 mins left to go and the cowboys leading, we win 31-27 They beat us in a shootout in 2009 for our first loss Believe me, it will be a close game and I hate close games |
Re: On to the Cowboys
Hate to say it but we just dont look like we are playing with passion this year. I dont what the deal is. It was pretty obvious that after Brees got slammed, the team finally woke up.

Ref was looking directly at it and threw the flag before brees was even on the ground, akiem Hicks did the same thing to Andrew luck and got called straight away. |
Re: On to the Cowboys
3 of 8 possessions resulting in a score against a team that lesser offenses torched.
The defense looked like a big 10 unit - can shut down a Kent State but unable to compete with any SEC team. For me, this game gave no indication that any ship was righted. We have played 3 teams projected to have losing records this season and about to play a 4th. Lose to the Cowgirls and it's likely over. 1-4 (Bucs are not as bad as Atlanta made them look) means that the 4th division of the Latvian soccer leagues will be more compelling. What happened to Louisiana Football? |

The eagles were supposed to go undefeated with their dream team - didn't happen The broncos were projected to outscore Seattle in the Superbowl - didn't happen Just remember that football is any given Sunday Our offense had kind of an off day, but did enough to win the game, credit the D for not allowing a TD all game Here's an example - 2011 we beat the colts without manning 62-7, the following week we lose to the rams 28-14 We still won the NFC south that year and had probably the best offense in NFL history The offense has put up decent numbers for 2 weeks straight, they had kind of an off day yesterday but that's normal, it will get sorted. |
Re: On to the Cowboys
I sure hope they don't think the Cowboys will be an easy win
|
Re: On to the Cowboys
Definitely a game of who has the worse defense. If we can get ANY pressure on Romo, that should be enough to turn it in our favor.
|
Re: On to the Cowboys
yee haw here we go.
100 pts combine score is not out of the question. +150? maybe? +200? lmao let the shot out begin :broccoli: start all offensive players in this game for both teams in your fantasy football leagues. |
Re: On to the Cowboys
Yes the lack of dominance by the offense at home did not go un-noticed. Let's just hope it was an off game. They came out on fire and then just stalled.

Hopefully it doesn't take Drew getting suplexed again for the team to WAKE UP. We're good in primetime and we seem to always show up to play at Dallas.

Re: On to the Cowboys
2-2 sounds alot better to me than 1-3. I would like to see us beat them but if not I 'm not freakin' just yet. Games 5-6 will matter, if they dig a hole, well they will have to dig out of it, if not theres big problems that will need to be adressed.I'm riding this ship out, the sea's may get a little scary!!

Re: On to the Cowboys
The Vikings had a respectable defense and they made good adjustments to our early attacks. The Cowboys will be a good test for us.

Re: On to the Cowboys
Our recievers has had 2 many drops, our run game is good, Brees has been a little spotty at times, overall if they clean a few things up and keep a balanced attack, its all good, although at times our O-line's playlooks a little shaky at key moments, fatigued looking to me.

Offensively we just need to get moving quick and sustain our drives. The defense needs more pass rush and to create turnovers. I'm baffled by our 1 turnover this year. 1?! 1 freakin turnover?!!!! It's so ridiculous that I started laughing when I thought about it. |
