VICK "OUT" FOR SAINTS GAME!?
Vick could sit Sunday
Flowery Branch, GA (Sports Network) - Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick might get this Sunday off to rest an ailing shoulder. The NFC South champion Falcons are already locked into the No. 2 playoff seed after a gutty 34-31 overtime win this past Saturday against Carolina and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday that Vick likely won't play against New Orleans on Sunday. Falcons head coach Jim Mora Jr. said Monday that Vick is not seriously injured, although the quarterback did take a couple of hits against the Panthers, including one to his throwing shoulder. "Mike's fine," said Mora at his Monday news conference. "His shoulder is sore, but nothing his structurally wrong." Asked if he would hold some of his players back in the wake of the severe injury to Philadelphia's Terrell Owens, Mora said he would not. "No. Play to win," Mora said. I wouldn\'t be a bit surprised if Schaub plays really, really well. I would almost expect to hear the commentators saying, \"Schaub seems to have a better grasp of this offense than Vick does.\"

No Vick, No Crump, No Duck, Rookie QB, Nothing to play for...
Do you think Haz would be immediately fired if we actually lost this game? I think he should be given his pink-slip on the sideline if we do. |

He might be down but he\'s certainly not out. ESPN\'s reporting he\'s signing a 10 year extention estimated at $100 million dollars.

... no question he\'s exciting to watch.. but he\'s a below average QB... ..here\'s the one QB whom against him, every down can a man-to-man cover and you can challenge to beat you with his passing, yet everyone believes the hype... |
