Thats why PT should not see a reduced role

He earned those scores. This man is MONEY. We need to build our offense around the run and get away from all this forced passing.

He's not playing like a hall of famer though is he? I don't care if we throw it 100 times, run it 100 times or split it down the middle, as long as we are successful. Right now, it's obvious we need more balance, and when Payton occasionally has taken his head out of his butt and tried to run it, that's when we've been at our best THIS YEAR. Every year is a little different, but right now we have to run it more than we have. If Payton can't do that because of an ego then he can find the door and get out. Brees shouldn't be throwing 57 times in any game, ever. We get Ingram back after the Bye, so that should be more incentive to run the ball down the stretch. Right?

It's hard to compare PT and Duece, our O-Line was so much better when Duece was toting the rock.

I'm guessing PT would look about the same running behind the 2006 O-Line:
