I would rather see Toon in the game before i see cadet. For the record my mom could have caught the TD pass that Cadet grabbed today. Before this game Cadet had 18 touches in his career and fumbled twice... not to mention the 4 fumbles he has had in the preseason. Cadet is the equivalent of Shanle on offense. |

Maybe... Deuce could take a pounding though. Not that PT can't we just havn't seen PT carry the rock like Deuce did.
Tough call on that but I might have to go with PT because of his pass blocking and pass catching abilities. |

Makes those screens look easy, like Fred Astaire with pads on lol! Love watching PT, it's a thing of beauty.

Re: Thats why PT should not see a reduced role
He's not playing like a hall of famer though is he? I don't care if we throw it 100 times, run it 100 times or split it down the middle, as long as we are successful. Right now, it's obvious we need more balance, and when Payton occasionally has taken his head out of his butt and tried to run it, that's when we've been at our best THIS YEAR. Every year is a little different, but right now we have to run it more than we have. If Payton can't do that because of an ego then he can find the door and get out. Let's hope it doesn't have to come to that.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

He should be getting 15-20 touches a game. He's as good or better than any of the Super star All-Pros on the team.
