Haslett to the Browns

From Pete Prisco on CBS Sportsline:

The Browns hope to hire a general manager in the next few weeks, with former Saints GM Randy Mueller a strong candidate. Other candidates are Phil Savage, player personnel director of the Ravens and Tim Ruskell, vice president of player personnel for the Falcons. If Mueller were to be hired, a coach that could make sense for this job would be Saints coach Jim Haslett. He is from Pittsburgh, so it would be like going home for him. He also knows the style of football it takes to win in that division. Mueller and Haslett had a good working relationship with the Saints when they helped lead the team to a division title in 2000. Mueller was subsequently let go two years ago in a move that was questioned by many around the league, but he has remained in contact with Haslett. The talk in New Orleans is Haslett can stay on as coach if he wants to do so but would first have to make some changes to his staff. If he doesn't do that, the Saints could let him go, with $6.5 million going out the door in his pocket. The Saints still have an outside shot at the playoffs, and the fact Haslett's team hasn't quit is a good sign for him. In fact, his players are responding well to his us-against-the-world mentality. Haslett to the Browns could be something to keep an eye on if Mueller gets the job.

There is more and
I would be willing to miss out on Mueller if he takes Haz. And if Haz quits, that means we don't owe him his contract right? Please oh please oh please.
