ALOT of good players on NFL rosters chosen after Fortt who was a reach at best. The staff has hit on some longshots/small school players but they've also missed. Like coach Payton, the front office outthinks itself sometimes. Run the ball. Pick a proven player from a big school.

Well it just goes to show once again that the Saints don't care if they drafted you or not, if somebody else is performing better you will be gone. Just like with PT and that 'whatshisface' RB we picked in the 4th round that year.

This I would agree with in most cases. But the guy already had an injury history when they picked him, and he subsequently gets hurt again and is now gone. It never made much sense to me, and definitely was a wasted pick even by 4th round standards.

I still dont get why we drafted him or Rooks to be honest.
We have no depth on the line and turned down OG's Yankey,Richardson and Dozier,OT Richardson,CB Desir to draft him

LB and CB will be high on our draft boards

We need a real playmaker at WR aswell, other than cooks we have no one that can create a big play

Our WR corp is loaded with over the hill guys or underachievers

Colston, meachem, stills, toon, Morgan - not one of them has done anything this season

At this point I'd prefer to throw to Josh hill every play than watch Kenny stills drop a pass because he's scared to get hit.

In all honesty I find this kind of bizarre. We could have IRed him for the year, but instead chose to release him. He seemed like he was making decent progress during preseason. There has to be something to this other than we A) don't like him as a player, and B) He's hurt. Just seems really odd and unexplainable.
