At least it seems the defense is getting a little better

What did Brees grade at?

Terron has been amazing for us... completely changed our running game since he has started.

Brees was a -1.0, which is just above the line for below average.

+1.0 to -1.0 is considered average, not good, but not bad.

After 5 weeks our top rated player is Parys Haralson at +6.7
Our worst rated player is Kenny Vaccaro at -6.9

Vaccaro played a lot better in the Bucs game, a lot better than the previous games...

It almost seems that he and Bush trust each other more

I also read this was the first game he felt really healthy since his injury last year and that he felt like it helped him that he got to play only at SS instead of all over the field.

I'm personally upgrading their week on week improvement thusly:

Last week: Saintfan says "poo"

This week: Saintfan says "meh"

Not the kind of improvement I know we'd all hoped for, but I haven't given them the "poo on a stick" rating yet, so that's good.

Right now I'm just hoping to upgrade them to "Hmmmm" after the bye.

Well the PFF reference post did what I should have posted by now...

Haralson has been outstanding; great return on a seventh round pick...

Galette, Lofton and Hawthorne should return their paychecks and turn in their helmets...

White got burned on that endzone shot (not sure why he pulled his hand back); but thought he made some solid stops as well...

Glad to see Patrick Robinson getting things turned around; hope he can get healthy and stay on this surge of his...

How can Brees throw a three picks (all really awful) including a pick-6 and still be rated as average?!?

Vaccaro/Bush seem to have great chemistry and that shouldn't be messed with any longer...

Armstead faced some pretty good pass rushers Sunday

The rest of that old, overpaid line is done - offensive line and linebacker are top of the priority list next offseason...

I'll say it now - he's making a case for All-Pro...

Foster seems to be stronger at the point of attack and has a mammoth bull rush...

Agree with every bolded line.
