The inability to protect Brees and move the ball in the last two possessions is a big reason for the loss. The INT was a good play by the safety, hands down. But they were getting pressure with their front and dropping everyone else back, hard to do anything in that scenario.

Because he is making stupid decisions.

2010 he threw 22 interceptions, he's on pace for roughly 20 this year

Elite QB's don't do that

The defense has been terrible all year, but brees isn't exactly playing lights out.
I realize that. Brees isn't taking care of the ball this year like he has in past years. He hasn't really been bad in the slightest though. We're just spoiled. But take a look at the Lions game thread on here. The people saying statements like "OMG Brees is choking again" "FU Brees" "Time to look for a new QB" and other statements of the like really need to get some perspective.
You would think we have one of the worst QBs in the league reading this forum sometimes.

Sometimes I start second guess if some of you actually WATCH the games that are played by the saints smbeard Drew Brees this Drew Brees that we need to start looking for a new QB his arm is in decline he's always forcing something he's in accurate blah blah blah, NO elite recievers on our team our 1 elite player was used as a decoy when he was in & our shotty o-line and Drew's the scape goat Lls on to Greenbay please

He is right for the most part and would say that about any player or any coach. Payton will never call out a player or coach to the media nor should he. However, he didn't meet Drew at the numbers and wear his ear hole out a few games back because he liked the pick6. Btw....was that ever discussed by anyone? I never saw it mentioned or any video of it. The fact is very clear that Drew's turnovers have hurt us very badly this year. It is undeniable.

This is an accurate statement. As angry as I am about Drew's INT's I would not want to give him up unless it was for Aaron Rodgers. Since that ain't gonna happen SP needs to stop being in denial about not winning on the road and make some adjustments for Drew & the offense. This team is failing us and SP is failing the team.

By the way I wouldn't give up SP either.

Yeah and just when might you do that coach? Next year? Cause in case you haven't noticed, this year is slipping away from you. You need to get your head out you're arse and run the ball more.
