So I can understand the rules,
Are we not allowed to disagree here? Even if it is civil or there is no name calling or other such nonsense? Or is there a limit to how long a debate can go on then you must move on? I would like a clear understanding of when a debate is out of line or when it has crossed the line. I don't think we will ever all agree on everything. If I disagree with someone should I just not say anything or start threads only for those who agree with me?

So I can understand the rules,
It\'s not my place to say this but I\'m going to...
The mods have to make rules to keep order here. You might not like some of \'em and you may disagree with them. But they are needed. You might not understand some of the rules but I\'ll bet ya the mods are trying to squash something before it gets started. I have NEVER heard ONE rule on here that was asking too much from any of the members. Believe me, I\'ve broken many rules on here and learned the hard way. Sometimes in the heat of the moment things seem unfair. But, after a cooling off period thinks seem to make more sense. What makes this board better? 10,000 Aaron vs. Jake threads or some new discussion. I mean, would you watch SportsCenter everyday if they discussed the same topics over and over and over? I think not. That\'s all folks... :P |

So I can understand the rules,
I am not questioning the mods rules, basically I was wondering why JOESAM closed the thread he did. i would never question the rules, trust me. I know why they are in place and agree. But noone was being out of line in that thread and it was not a Brooks vs. Delhomme debate, it was strictly a pro-Brooks vs. not so pro Brooks debate amd I am just wondering why it was shut off. I don\'t think anyone was out of line with anyone else, except maybe very early on, which was cleaned up. I say again, not questioning the rules as i clearly stated, just trying to get a better understanding of them.

So I can understand the rules,
saintswhodi
I really have no idea why Joe locked the thread. But speaking from personal experience, he\'s got a reason. I don\'t even ask anymore I just try to adjust my posting accordingly. Someone on here once told me that there are some folks how jump into the same old tired discussions over and over and over. Even though we\'ve heard them post the samethings The bottom line is it gets old for a lot of folks. I don\'t know if that\'s what is happening here but I suspect it is. There\'s 100 different things on here that no one is discussing that would be refreshing to debate. But instead we get mucked down in the same old debates. It\'s fun for a few of us but we get to where we are dominating the board with the same ol\' stuff. We\'ll I\'ll stop preaching, just my 2 cents and I\'m far from being perfect on here. |

So I can understand the rules,
I can see how that would be. Cool. Just it\'s still new for some of us and those debates may not be old to us. But I can see what you are saying.

So I can understand the rules,
Its apparent that its OK to beat optimists over the head when the Saints lose, but you\'d better not hurt pessimists\' feelings when the Saints win.

So I can understand the rules,
Those moonbeamers don\'t scare me. We\'ve got \'em on the ropes Danno. They thought they had us. But........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. We sucker punced \'em and when we make the playoffs... they had better get some sunscreen \'cause I\'m going to blind \'em with sunshine. And then I\'m going to blind \'em with science. Let the sunshine down on me. |
