As for the rush, it was a "mush rush" designed to keep Rogers contained in the pocket so as to limit the scramble drill. For the most part it worked. Exactly the same should be used for Newton. He's dangerous when he's out of the pocket. Keep him in the pocket and make him throw the ball. Rush him and he escapes is bad news. Pressure should be in the pocket. SFIAH |
