Re: No Corey White Love?
This is what Corey White does. He looks good for stretches then gives us the WTF play. If he can develop a bit more consistency he could be a good player in this league.
I hope this game was the one where the light came on for him. |

Re: No Corey White Love?
I wouldn't call him a great or even very good tackler. He's bounced off plenty of receivers.
Just glad to see him keep a play in front of him enough to make a tackle. The contested passes are icing on the cake. |

Re: No Corey White Love?
I am a Corey White fan... He is the best tackler on our team... he is very sound tackler.
I think it had a lot to do with us keeping it simple. No creative blitz, no trying to out-smart the other team just go basic. We have a lot of young talent out there and lost a lot of leaders on that unit. Giving them to much, they have to think to much. Just let them play. |

Re: No Corey White Love?
Corey is a competitor and he lives on the edge. He'll make the big play by breaking up a tight pass and the next play he will guess wrong or whiff at the break up for a long gain. I like his tackling technique and I like his competitiveness. Experience will turn him into a solid player for us and definitely worthy of the growing pains.

Re: No Corey White Love?
He played well for sure. I think it has more to do with RR tweaking the scheme and doing a better job personally. Ball has really looked good as well. He is playing his role like Vaccaro did last year.
