Re: Win out at home and most likely win South
Just have to win one more than Carolina. But the win against Carolina in Carolina last night was HUGE, from both a division perspective and also in terms of the ongoing "Saints suck on the road" meme perspective. This is the first time they have looked right on the road since Philly, and that game itself was the first time they looked right on the road since maybe early in 2013.

Re: Win out at home and most likely win South
honestly, we could win just 3 more and still win the division, as long one of the 3 is Carolina.
Atl, TB, & Carol are just that bad. It would be nice to get 10-11 wins and at least have a shot a home game in the NFCG. No telling what will happen in the playoffs, and geez, right now Arizona is the #1 seed |

If we were to have to travel, I'd rather go to Dallas, Arizona or Detroit than Seattle, SF, GB or Philly

Re: Win out at home and most likely win South
I've been lurking around here for the whole season while still watching all the games and reading most of the articles about the Saints, but I haven't really posted much since I haven't really had anything constructive to say about the way the team has played. Also, the negativity that has been apparent in many posts here hasn't really made me feel like piling on with my woes.
Even though the Saints have improved their performances of late, there still remain a lot of questions - especially about the defense - that I don't yet feel all that comfortable about. |

Re: Win out at home and most likely win South
tall order but it can be done. for the first time in a long time the saints kept gap assignments and it showed. back up OL or not i was pleased to see it and it will be huge for the niners game. Kaperdink's Achilles heel is pocket passing.
SP will continue to get the offense clicking and all looks good for the future. it is Drew and SP that will be the ones to get us that NFC South crown. a crown is a crown no matter how ugly the division may look. get to the show and that is our only road to it |
