Win out at home and most likely win South
Winning 5 at home gives us 9-7 at the worst.
As long as Atlanta or Carolina don't win all of their other games (excluding the Saints) - and they still play each other twice - we are in. ATL and TB certainly aren't out of it, but their schedules says that neither of them are sniffing .500 this year, so its really Carolina and us. Carolina is not playing well, but their schedule is soft. They travel to Philly and NO - other than that they have a chance. The key is to get them to 7 losses I think. We can beat them out as long as we win all our home games and Philly (or any other team besides the Saints) beats Carolina to get Carolina a 7th loss Up next - the Evil Empire. We must crush them!!!! |

Panthers still have to play the Falcons twice; that's going to be two tough games for two very bad teams...

Panthers have the easiest remaining schedule according to the stats they showed last night.

Re: Win out at home and most likely win South
Weird, we won 2 games in a row, get to .500, finished a game we would not have finished earlier in the season, take division lead, and I'm still hearing Saints fans whine.
Also, where are the nay-sayers? We heard all season how this was the end and team needed to be scuttled. Really dissapointed with our fans and regulars here at black and gold. Thank YOU to the very few here that are actually posting and participating, especially those on this thread. Otherwise, the enthusiasm has been poop. |

Re: Win out at home and most likely win South
I think that our away games are the key. Not sure we can stay undefeated at home but Chicago and PIT games are not that scary at this point. Chicago is falling apart on defense and Cutler lost that locker room. Pit secondary is very bad and their run defense is nothing special. We can win in high scoring game.

Re: Win out at home and most likely win South
Just have to win one more than Carolina. But the win against Carolina in Carolina last night was HUGE, from both a division perspective and also in terms of the ongoing "Saints suck on the road" meme perspective. This is the first time they have looked right on the road since Philly, and that game itself was the first time they looked right on the road since maybe early in 2013.

Re: Win out at home and most likely win South
honestly, we could win just 3 more and still win the division, as long one of the 3 is Carolina.
Atl, TB, & Carol are just that bad. It would be nice to get 10-11 wins and at least have a shot a home game in the NFCG. No telling what will happen in the playoffs, and geez, right now Arizona is the #1 seed |
