Dangerous time for the Non-Believers
Seems most people are divided on just about everything these days.
And the Saints are no exception!! Basically, you have your believers vs. non-believers. The believers see real signs of hope despite our record. They see improvement in the defense and an improving running game with a healthy Deuce. They also know if we win the next game that we're probably in the playoffs where anything can happen. Then there are the non-believers. Those who gave up on this team long ago. Most of those folks blame Haslett and Brooks and want both gone no matter what. Some even want us to lose so changes will be made. The non-believers could be setting themselves up for a big fall. If we win this next game, a lot of the non-believers will be proved wrong. We will have won 4-games in a row and will have beaten the hottest team in the league by beating the Panthers. And heavan forbid if we win a playoff game or two. That would be their worst nightmare. All the preaching they have done would then fall on deaf ears. Heck, you might not even hear from some of them again. Let's face it, some folks just like to *****. It's a dangerous time for the non-believers. Very dangerous. Look out if we win. There will be folks running to the bandwagon. :P [Edited on 31/12/2004 by GumboBC] [Edited on 31/12/2004 by GumboBC] |
