Re: Title or bust for NFC Septic teams
The Clowns have a BRUTAL schedule.
6 wins for them will be a success... |

Re: Title or bust for NFC Septic teams
Looking at schedules, it's possible we could win this thing at 6-10 with no more NFC South wins.
Tampa has Green Bay, Detroit, Cincinnati, Carolina, Washington, Chicago and us so they are GUARANTEED 11 losses. Atlanta has Carolina twice, us, Cleveland, Arizona, Green Bay and Pittsburgh. Safe bet for 11 losses there when you're 3-6 Carolina has us, Atlanta twice, Tampa, Minnesota and Cleveland. I can see them dropping 4 of those and finishing 5-10-1. The key to this insanity would be a TB win over Carolina and for Carolina-Atlanta to split their games. So let's make history and be the first 6-10 division winner and Super Bowl Champ!!! (With a final record of 10-10) |

Carolina has the easiest schedule. They only have one more loss other than the Saints, assuming... That would give them a 7-8-1 record. Thus, 8-8 would be the minimum that would guarantee a division win.
Don't look for us to beat anyone other than our division rivals. if we go 7-9, we're out. |

Re: Title or bust for NFC Septic teams
Joking on the 6-10. Don't you know that if that happened (or us winning at 7-9 or 8-8, for that matter) that the NFL will vote to change the playoff system.
I think we can still win most of what we have left. Pittsburgh and Baltimore scare me the most. That said, if we can't win 8 after stomping the Packers, do we deserve to go??? |

Nonsense. We are the candy bar in the punch bowl. Unsightly yes, but get it out, pat it down and you now have a savory snack along with your punch.

Saints and Falcons the only possibilities to sneak in the back door. Bucs are done and Panthers in downward spiral.
