We have too many pressing needs to keep pouring draft picks into the WR position. |

Re: Report: Saints' Brandin Cooks out multiple weeks with broken thumb
Defense was suspect the year we won the Super Bowl. We just caused turmovers. We've never been smash mouth under Payton, and we never will be. The smart thing to do is strengthen the offensive line and get better at wide receiver. Jump out on teams early and make them one dimensional. Hopefully we can sign a couple ppeople who can pressure the quarterback, then I'm sure we'll get the results we want. You can't have a dominate offense and defense with the salary cap. Something is going to lack. I prefer we use the formula that won it all for us.

What's with all these so called Saints fans making negatve comments? Injuries are part of the game! Every guy on this team is good enough to step in and play like a starter. We are not the only team with player injuries, nor are we in any way DONE! Some of you people need to step back and take a page from 'Arron Rogers' and just RELAXXXXXXXXXX!

Some folks (myself probably included) have overreacted a little..but don't try to blow sunshine up my rear and tell me it'll all be OK.. not this year anyway. I drank this season's kool-aid all the way up until this past Sunday. I'm done... not done watching them or pulling for them or loving them, but done believing that they're going to right the ship this year. The mounting injury list is only exacerbating an already grim situation. This team lacks drive, focus, identity and heart. The rest of the year will be a rollercoaster ride. A few brief shining moments at the top, but mostly a lot of screaming and nausea as it heads back downhill. Maybe they'll prove me wrong yet. I hope to Almighty God they do, but I don't expect it. I'm not gonna put myself through that. I have literally gotten more upset over these past 2 games than I have in years because I still had expectations.. Not anymore.

We are not done yet ( which is completely laughable ) but, we can easily see the edge of the cliff from here.
This team lost faith in itself in this game. My personal opinion is that it would be a miracle to recover from that. But, I'm a Saints fan ..... anything can happen. |

The only guy who can catch and get open for us is out... lmao yeah we're done , I mean even if we do win the south , why would we want to ? We won't beat anyone and it would take us smooth out of contention to pick up desperately needed players.

If we play like we did against Green Bay, we can and will beat anyone. I'm disappointed that so many have lost faith. Every team in contention has looked awful at some point this year.

Re: Report: Saints' Brandin Cooks out multiple weeks with broken thumb
Because I for one would be more proud of a team that didn't give up for a better draft pick. That would make them quitters and as a fan I'd be ashamed...
