Payton and Loomis have been one of the most successful Coach/GM combos in the league for years now. They'll do what they need to do to right the ship, we hope. It's only embarrassing when you quit. |

Re: Report: Saints' Brandin Cooks out multiple weeks with broken thumb
well Sunday against the Bengals was pretty embarrassing
I saw no drive, no heart, no will the first 5 loses the team was working hard and unraveled in the end even the Cowboys game - they came back in the second half The Bengals game - pathetic 4 quarters, 60 minutes of pathetic they better turn it around and will themselves to win this is the Saints come on |

Re: Report: Saints' Brandin Cooks out multiple weeks with broken thumb
I don't think its a case of people losing faith in the team, its just the realisation that the Saints are not (at this point in time) the team that everyone was hoping they would be and now that (not using this as an excuse) the injury list is getting very long its hard to see where the next win will come from.
We are all Saints fans on this forum and I guess we always will be but it would be nice to have, just a little something positive, to cheer about, especially after that awful game against the Bengals. A win against the Ravens would be just the tonic!!!!! GEAUX SAINTS!!!!! |

Reportedly Cooks has been put on IR and there may be a wrist injury involved to go with the broken thumb.

Re: Report: Saints' Brandin Cooks out multiple weeks with broken thumb
If it looks like Cooks is going to be out for longer than we thought then the rest of the team really will have to step up and earn their dollars!
Lets hope they show some spirit on all sides of the ball in the next game! GEAUX SAINTS!!! |
