In clippings I've read, he really showed something as a CB and he may actually have a higher ceiling than many of the '15 prospects...

With Dennis Allen back in the fold, I think he's the right level of investment/development selection for us in this draft...

Rowe or the Miami kid is what I'm thinking...

Get that pass rush going, collapse that pocket - that's the key to better DB play...

i will go back and take another look

I've read that Rowe is essentially Jean-Baptiste: stiff in the hips and lacks top end speed. He's a free safety all the way.

No. 013 (R1, 13) OL Brandon Scherff, Iowa; 6' 5", 320 lbs.

No. 044 (R2, 12) LB Denzel Perryman, Miami (Florida); 5' 11", 245 lbs.

No. 067 (R3, 03) LB Lorenzo Mauldin, Louisville; 6' 4", 255 lbs.

Traded Pick 075 (R3,11) and a Future 4th round pick with Jacksonville

No. 109 (R4, 13) LB Stephone Anthony, Clemson; 6’ 1”, 200 lbs.

No. 140 (R5, 12) CB Eric Rowe, Utah; 6’ 1”, 204 lbs.

No. 171 (R6, 11) RB Michael Dyer, Louiisville~Auburn; 5' 9", 215 lbs.

No. 205 (R7, 13) LB Davis Tull, Tennessee-Chattanooga; 6’ 3”, 245 lbs.

With this draft simulation, Scherff fell with Thompson taken and Perryman fell so I took full advantage...

In the third, no way I was still getting a quality OLB which the Saints desperately need, so I jumped ahead of Rams who are trying to replace Dunbar and Bears who are moving to a 3-4 base package...

Note: If I could somehow make a sign and trade deal to move Galette limiting further cap commitment and gain a pick, I'd do the deal for a third or fourth rounder to a team that needs a pass rusher...

Again, found another great CB candidate to develop without using a high pick...

As a philosophy and in the Saints offense, I'd never want to use higher than a fourth round pick on a running back...

Tull in the seventh, and wouldn't discount he could move inside to one of those linebacking spots...

Realistically, can't see Scherff falling to us, but he's the only guy I'd want at No. 13 other than Shaq Thompson, otherwise I'm trading back and going with Plan B...

I endorse this draft

What scouting reporting have you read?

Eric Rowe*|*Utah,*CB*:*2015 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile

http://edraft.com/nfl/news/2015-nfl-...ort-eric-rowe/

What I'm reading is that this guy is a gamer of good character who can play a number of positions...

Considering what happened late last season at safety, this is the guy you want on your squad...

Reading that he's fluid, though a long strider, and at 6-1, he could challenge the taller wide receivers...

Re: 2015 draft??

My first seven round draft simulation on Fanspeak of the year. Here we go:

Rd. 1: Shaq Thompson (LB)- Washington... Out with David Hawthorne and in with this weakside LB. Hopefully he becomes our Lavonte David.

Rd. 2: Cameron Erving (C)- Florida State... Comes in to initially compete with Tim Lelito for the starting center job. If he doesn't win that job he could eventually become a starting guard or right tackle.

Rd. 3: Preston Smith (DE)- Mississippi State... I honestly don't know if he can be a 3-4 OLB but since we never really line up in a 3-4 here's some DE help because you can never have enough.

Rd. 4: David Johnson (RB)- Northern Iowa... We don't know if Ingram will be back but even if he is he'll inevitably miss a few games due to injury. Cadet is likely cut because he's expendable.

Rd. 5: Stefon Diggs (WR)- Maryland... Just going for depth now.

Rd. 6: Jake Ryan (OLB)- Michigan

Rd. 7: Chucky Hunter (DT)- TCU

Breshad Perriman, no more under the radar. I was hoping 3rd-4th round. damn

Re: 2015 draft??

some tweets:

Count Mike Mayock among those who thinks UCF WR Breshad Perriman has first round talent.

Mayock: “Malcom Brown is a 1st round guy all day long.” Anybody who watched him last season agrees, was dominant for stretches

Mayock on Iowa OL Brandon Scherff: “I think he’s an All-Pro guard but that doesn’t mean he can’t play tackle.”

High praise for Florida’s Dante Fowler from Mike Mayock, who he says is comparable to Chiefs’ star Justin Houston.

Mayock: Pitt OL T.J. Clemmings should get the call in the 15-25 range of the first round.

Mayock has eight running backs graded as 1st, 2nd or 3rd round picks.

Mayock comp: Raiders RB Darren McFadden and Indiana RB Tevin Coleman.

Mayock on Vic Beasley: The concern around the league is if he has enough power, especially vs. run.
