You do realise that Keenan lewis is less than 50% healthy at the minute? He's playing on a leg injury that would have ended many others season, but he's being a competitor and staying out there anyway.

Keenan is the only defensive player that gives 110% every week, if we had 11 Keenan lewis' out there we'd be better than the 2000 ravens D.

you make a valid point but these are the players Rob picked. Kenny is not a true safety and by all odds will never be a true safety. he is best as a pest. which i have to admit he is probably one of the best in the NFL. Safety is going to be an issue I think for a while despite keeping 6 of them this year.

Keenan Lewis needs a playmate opposite of him. Greer going down has been such a huge hole that needs to be filled. That loss was bigger than most would have thought. That is why SJB is needed so badly. Yet the saints stopped there. So here we go again....

A solid rookie pick that can cover man on man is what is needed big time. Heck a solid veteran teir two FA CB could fill that role on the outside too. Got some really nice CB in the draft to fill this need right out of the gate in rounds 1 , 2 and 3. a few maybes later in the draft also.

But if Rob does the picking i fear they all will be as productive as the last two years of his picks.

I don't think Reprish is gonna let a Coordinator pick his players. He may listen to Rob's advise, but I doubt seriously Rob Ryan is making any picks.

really. I find it hard to believe Rob is not the one with the final word as to who he wants he wants with a pick then the front office and SP making the pick.

If that is the case Rob does not have the final say as to the defensive player he would want with a pick then this defense as a whole now makes whole lot of sense to me.

I thought Carmichael was going to start calling plays again this year. Maybe it is time for him to do so. Hell let him take over defensive plays too while he is at it.

As head coach Payton needs to step in and call some defensive plays if what Rob is doing is not working. That is what head coaches are supposed to do. So before he starts yelling "I might as well do it" maybe he should have just done it.

The defense isn't supposed to break their back bailing out baby Brees. It's like when I have to show my grandmother obituaries online she wants to see and do all the clicking and scrolling for her because she doesn't know how to operate a computer.

SIL-LY. Brees is still a great QB. He's doing his best to make up for the rest of the team's deficiencies and that's what I want him to do. If the Saints make him into a game manager, they're losing these games by blowouts.
