Both can play another year. That's not overvaluing that's stating that a better center will make their jobs easier.

Impressions aren't up to you to decide. The preseption you give is decided by the intended audience and although you may not have the intention of sounding like a "know it all"; you do.

The only CHANGE that's going to happen in the next week is that the players will be wearing long-johns in Chicago.

I think a coach/more are gone, some starters will become backups , and we find some off the street or off another team's practice squad. I'm excited to see if we find anything that works (like it looks as if we have with our brand-new PR Sanders).

Kind of glad our weaknesses got exposed all at once. Caused a mindshift in Payton. The press conference made me eager to see a change. Now I don't have to wait hopelessly for the draft and off-season.

What happens when Armstead goes out? We've Undrafted FA and lo-round draft picks as all our OL 2nd string. We've other teams' cast-offs, UFAs, and lo-round draft picks at LB. Can't run nor stop the run. Gee, wonder why? Thinking Payton/Loomis will finally draft accordingly.

You have made a really valid point when you say our weaknesses got exposed all at once. It really has.

ok i slept on it.
still the top 5 in all time worse games i have ever seen.
how do you game plan for SP? the unexpected is expected
how do you game plan for Rob? You don't. same ol same ol

To be honest I have to admit there is a shot at getting the crown still. Granted we need to win out right or start praying to the football gods for help. Me? I have been doing that for weeks now.

If by their graces we make the playoffs it will be a cameo appearance. we are just to beat up to go anywhere and have been for over 8 games now.

what have we learned. our depth in the secondary is not so bad. Young and way to inexperienced. there is something worth spending time on in this group to develop.

I can not judge this group as a whole because of the injuries but i can judge these things

1) how the defense is lined up each and every play.

I sit there week after week and see what is going to be run based on the defensive set. No surprises and we still can not manage to stop or adjust to stop it

2) will this team fight to the end?:flush::angel:

This is the first time i have seen an SP coached team just give up. they just gave up! There is an old saying in foot ball. When your losing you can tell a lot about a player by the way he plays all the way to the end.

Well not a good sign when SP joins in at the end and just wants to go home. this i can not accept. there is serious problems and SP needs to get this handled.

i believe they do. all i know is we better go back to some old school style in Chitown. you know the long johns with a flap in the back. If we play like we did sunday we will need it. hate to see this team covered in their own crap if we lay that many turds on the field again.

I agree with everything else but I think a #2 cb is a definite need for pick up in draft or free agency. Ryan has been awful at scheming and adjustments this year. However, I do think those all out blitzes would be working a lot more if our #2&#3 CBs could stay on their man in man coverage for more than 2 seconds.

Since you brought it up - did you notice how much pressure Carolina got with only 4 guys? All day long.....

did you notice we still try with just 3? over year now and we still try to rush just 3.

You would have thought some one might have picked up on the fact IT AINT WORKING

i agree 100% please do not let me miss lead you. A #2 CB that can play man coverage is #1 on my priority list, we gotta make the Vaccaro and Byrd work and Lewis can only do so much. White is a nickle and dime guy that you should be able to plug in at SS. he may surprise people at SS and make the Vaccaro pick look really bad. We all know he can tackle.

But with out enough solid CB we will never know. This would have been the year to test that idea out. anyways the draft looks good on cover CB this year. much better than last year.

This years group of CB would have made SJB feel really lucky to get picked at the bottom of the third round

there is hope

This is the biggest thing we have to fix now. We don't have the personnel to develop and the coaches aren't figuring a way to win.

Yeah...same as I said in my post at the beginning of this thread a few days ago. A few days to stew and pout, a few bouts of lunacy and it's the same conclusion for me anyhow: the worst performance I've seen in the SP/Brees Era on Dec 7th, 2014.

Still got my faith in some Payton Majik these last 3 games, so let's see what some reverse mojo at Solder Field in December can do for this team, shall we?

... and is it a coincidence it also happens on the anniversary of the worst attack against our soil in our nation's history? Don't ask me why I think about stuff like that, there's just days on the calendar that are forever designated to be bad days, IMO.

I am finally able to post. That was such a bad game.

Saints are not firing in: coaching, O-line, D-line, Sp.teams.
None of them.
Missed FG.
No tackles. No blocking.
Missing catches.

On to this week.
I hope they win the next three games in this pitiful division.

Naw, man. Way different kind. World-changing, life-ending. No comparison. This is a silly little football team.

But we shall never forget.
