ESPN's Final QB Rankings

QB formulas are extremely hard to get right and this one is obviously flawed just as the QB rating system is flawed. What we really need to do is figure out exactly what stats are important and do our own - not that I want to spend the time doing it. |

I wouldn\'t mind doing that. So you find the regular qb ratings as flawed aslo? They do miss a lot of stats. Also, if I was here last year, despite my feelings on Brooks, I would have posted it, when he was high. I also lauded him for the Panthers game in another thread. I just think we need a change, that\'s all. I wasn\'t out to get him here though. If I was, I would have said so, as you can read elsewhere.

Stat that is important is Td to int ratio, which i hate to say Ab did not do very well. Some will say wins and losses which is hard to do cause I think Trent Green is a good Qb but without a D and a hurt Priest he didn\'t get may wins. Its all by what ur opinion is

I don\'t mind that Venturi, but last year AB was 3 to 1 TD to INT, but he led the league in fumbles and overall turnovers so that is flawed too.

To the left they also rated special teams, and we came in second! Al Everst better be one that stays

You definitely have to have a TD to turnover ratio. I prefer to see things like yards per attempted pass in it which will cover the need of putting in completion percentage and does not give the dinkers a whole lot of credit.

Our special teams truly picked it up this year. I thought Beerman had lost it. He showed me a little more fire this year.
