ESPN's Final QB Rankings
While I do not think AB deserves to be in the top 10 (definitely not statistically this year) I have to say that there were a lot of QBs ranked higher than him that I wouldn\'t trade for. So I guess it is a matter of perspective. Statistics do not always tell the whole story.

ESPN's Final QB Rankings
These ratings are based on stats Venturi. There is nothing opinionated about them, they are fact, unlike power rankings, which are wholy subjective. Just thought it was interesting.

Read the formula for how the ratings are derived again. It is based on ranks of defenses faced and other such stats also, not just TDS, INTs, and yards. It\'s actually a very good formula for determining a qbs value. Once again, I haven\'t said anything about Leon and his ranking on it. I just said I thought it was interesting.

ESPN's Final QB Rankings
Not sayin he is an elite qb but 19th, and i dont think he should have been #6 last year(kinda high). it is interesting as Bulger plays in the no defense division and is rated pretty high

ESPN's Final QB Rankings
You didn\'t have to mention him. We already knew what you were after with this post.
[transparent motivation] Anyway, Testeverde being ranked ahead of AB just shows how off this formula is. It looked at the defenses each QB played against, you say? Well wasn\'t there a game in which Testeverde played horribly against the worst defense in the league? I find it hard to believe anyone could seriously rank him ahead of AB no matter how stupid Ab plays sometimes. |

Scotty, Testaverde also was one of the highest rated qbs at the beginning of the year. He didn\'t fade until towards the second half of the season. Also, just cause someone posts something they find interesting, you take from it what you will. You can judge a person\'s intent, doesn\'t mean you are right. In this case, you aren\'t. I found the whole ranking interesting, our qb was very high on it last year. |
