What the???

On WWL last night Hoakie and Jim Henderson were discussing the coaches. Jim stated that several players, not just one or two, came up to him unsolicited and told him that all this mess the Saints went through this year was not Hasletts fault and they specifically wanted Jim to know that. They said they played the last 4 games trying to save Haslet's job.

Hmm, what the heck is going on here? If it wasn't Haz's fault, then who else? because it dang sure was somebody's fault. Venturi? McCarthy?, Brooks? Loomis? Sullivan? Deuce?

I smell a rat.

What the???

Looks like the players found out how the first office tells the players one thing and the coaches another. The management might have just got caught playing their little game of playing both sides of the fence.

I just wish they could\'ve played the whole season to save Haslett\'s job.

Jim Haslett can\'t get out on the field and win games for the players. I know that\'s hard for some fans to accept, but that\'s the way it is.

Look... the players want Haslett back. They believe in him and they know a heck of a lot more than WhoDat and some fans who THINK they know what the \"real\" problem is.

Should I listen to the players or the fans? Not a tough choice for me!!!

The trick is, which players should a guy listen to then? I bet the take you get on the organization is quite a bit different when you talk to Leon as opposed to talking to Charles Grant or Joe Horn or as opposed to talking to Willie Roaf, Jerry Fontenot or Kyle Turley.

It\'s just never that clear cut huh?

My sentiments exactly BMG. You beat me to the punch. Billy can sling mud this way all he wants. He\'s mad that again the Saints underachieved. I am his usual favorite target. You admitted in June that I was right and you were wrong and that you should have listened to me all along about Haslett. Now, as usual, after another mediocre season you\'re right back on the Pro-Brooks Pro-Haslett side of the fence. Shocking. Who did you vote for in the election Billy? The flip flopper? LOL.

(Sorry Halo - no more politics. )
