Re: Worried about Armstead
is Becton still on the roster?
I posted on another thread that I think it's a positive that we haven't signed anybody to the active roster, so apparently we are playing the cards we have. I doubt we go into this game with only Strief, Harris & Becton. |

Re: Worried about Armstead
Strief has played some good games at LT in his career. I would feel much better with him protecting Drew's blindside than Harris.

Re: Worried about Armstead
Fortunately we are playing the one team that we can probably get away with Harris on the field. But I agree with somebody else, I'd rather swap them around and put Strief on the left side if it comes to that.

Re: Worried about Armstead
I would pay really close attention in the Dome and watch Armstead running out of the tunnel, and then you'll know. If he half jogs or is slow, and just jogs past his teammates, then it's obviously not a good sign. Same with Goodwin, I've been watching him all year. He just trots out the tunnel with no fire or passion whatsoever. It's exactly like what Strief said about the locker room before the games. That's when we'll know.

Re: Worried about Armstead
Neck injury... Sounds like he got a stinger. Would be nice to have him 100%, especially with Atlantas weak edge rushers. With a healthy Armstead Brees would have all day to throw.

do not count on Streif. that chest injury must be worse than he is letting on. Zac is not the type to bail so Armstead needs to play. we aint got nobody really to back up either one up. serviceable but that is about it.

From what Smith was saying sounds like their goal is to shut down the run and force us to pass. Whatever |
