New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham and offensive guard Jahri Evans were selected to the NFL Pro Bowl, the league announced Tuesday night.
Other Saints could be added as players drop out. Evans is making his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl appearance. Graham is making his third overall and second in a row. In 2013, Evans, Graham, quarterback Drew Brees, guard Ben Grubbs and defensive end Cameron Jordan were selected. If Brees isn't selected this year, his streak of consecutive Pro Bowl selections would end at six, which is one short of the all-time franchise record set by Willie Roaf. The last year in which no Saints were invited to the Pro Bowl was 2007. Graham was behind only Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots among tight ends in the fan portion of the balloting that ended last week. Fans count for one-third of the total that determines Pro Bowl selections. The votes of NFL players and coaches also count for one-third each. The Pro Bowl will be played on Jan. 25, 2015 at 7 p.m. in Glendale, Ariz., one week before Super Bowl XLIV is held at the same venue. read more on NOLA Attached Thumbnails

Doesn't surprise me at all.
Its always based on rep, the commentators keep saying how great player X is and the fans vote them in. |
